Dear Friends in Christ,
The Bible puts it: "we were born
in sin and shaped iniquity." We inherit the sin nature through our Adamitic
bloodline. As a result, the male bloodline carries the potential for sin. That
is why Jesus had to be born without a genetic father, being conceived through
the Holy Spirit. His bloodline was given to Him by God.
When we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour, we inherit His bloodline and
become sons and daughters of God. The sons and daughters of God are also led by
the Spirit of God.
Yes, we are born in sin. Sin is not necessarily what we do. It is an inherited
condition. The acts are just symptoms of this fallen condition.
